Clip Clippity Clog

It's been a while since i've written a blog or had an interest in anything other than jeans and trainers recently. I've been in a real bloody rut (ironic, that the Stylist can't get dressed), but I'll go more into that another time.

Anyhoooo, clogs! They're everywhere at the moment and although not on our radar as a nation for a good couple of generations, i'm thinking mid 90's, they have been around for hundreds of years. In fact, the oldest known wooden shoe dates back to 1280. And you can't get more sustainable than a wooden shoe, so it's no surprise they're big on the fashion scene currently, what with brands becoming more sustainable and ethical.

If you're bored of trainers and boots yet wondering what to wear during these inbetweeny weeks of Spring and Summer, a clog could be a real asset to your wardrobe and personally, trying them on with some of my clothes, they appear to go with everything.

Here's my breakdown of where to buy your clogs

I've played it safe with colour and opted for either black or a neutral and this is purely because when we introduce a potentially new style into our wardrobe, unless we're totally gung ho and ready to embrace it, sometimes we just need to ease ourselves in and you can't go wrong with these colours. If however, you're ready to cease the day and go all out, then there are some truly spectacular styles out there, so just go get 'em.

Thanks so much for stopping by, i'd love to know what you think, are you ready to embrace the clog and what else you'd be interested in reading about?

Big love, Alex xx
